While it is known that Blackfire will be a major part of season 3's storyline, there is little in the first three episodes of Titans to indicate just how she will be brought into the narrative. ![]() While Starfire swore that she would avenge her parents, despite not wanting the throne for herself, Blackfire apparently elected not to wait for Starfire to return to Tamaran and the final scene of Titans' season 2 finale showed her using Tamaranean technology to take over the body of an innocent Earth woman. The current queen of Tamaran first appeared in Titans season 2, telling Starfire that she had killed their parents and claimed their throne for herself. Justin Cole, a psychiatrist whom Starfire had befriended, believed that she was experiencing a violent parasomnia episode brought about by some kind of subconscious trauma, it seems more likely that Starfire's visions are the work of her wicked sister Komand'r, a.k.a. She tried to throw fire at them when they addressed her, but she quickly awoke from her trance with no memory of what had happened. Later, Gar Logan, aka Beast Boy, and Conner, aka Superboy, found Starfire walking Wayne Manor in a daze, speaking her native language. This time, a blue energy seemed to envelop Starfire as she had the vision, which showed her the same disturbing men wearing goggles but also revealed the restrained figure was handcuffed to a hospital gurney and trying to break free. Starfire experienced a second vision in Titans season 3, episode 2, "Red Hood," as she was exploring Wayne Manor and Nightwing's old bedroom. A series of images seemed to flash through Starfire's mind, showing two men wearing goggles from the perspective of a restrained figure who was lying down and being pushed down a hallway. Suddenly she dropped her glass and her eyes began to glow green. ![]() Starfire's first vision came near the end of Titans season 3's premiere episode, " Barbara Gordon," as she was raising a drink to Jason Todd's memory.
